I first had this delicious dip at a potluck at work. We were celebrating Harvest Day and my close friend brought this dip to share.

She let me try a little before the noon time gathering and I was absolutely hooked! But unfortunately, by the time that I got around to the buffet line, the dip was gone!

I guess everyone else enjoyed the taste of it as much as I did! It was then that I knew that I would have to get the recipe from her.

But little did I know that this no bake pumpkin dip was so simple and easy to make. I really didn’t believe her when she told me that it took her only 5 minutes to make.

And that it only took 4 ingredients! I knew then that this would soon become one of my favorite recipes! Although I love pumpkin cookies, pumpkin rolls, and Pumpkin Chili, I knew that this Pumpkin Dip recipe would be a recipe that I used often in the Fall.

In fact, ever since I got this No Bake Pumpkin Dip recipe I have been making it on game day, on Beggar’s night, for potlucks, and even as a quick and easy appetizer on Thanksgiving!

No Bake Pumpkin Dip Recipe

As I mentioned before, this recipe requires only 4 Ingredients: pumpkin puree, vanilla pudding mix, pumpkin pie spice and Cool Whip.

Just be sure to use a can of pumpkin puree, and not pumpkin pie filling. These two products are not interchangeable. And by all means, if you have made your own pumpkin puree from a pie pumpkin, you can definitely use that as well.

First, mix together the pumpkin puree, vanilla pudding mix, and pumpkin pie spice.

However, homemade pumpkin puree needs to be drained before adding it to the dip. This is easy to do by placing it in a tea towel and ringing out any excess moisture. Then use 1 3/4 cup to replace the can of pumpkin.

Now place the pumpkin, vanilla pudding mix, and pumpkin pie spice in a large mixing bowl. Using the whisk attachment, beat the no bake pumpkin dip mixture until well incorporated.

Fold the Cool Whip into the pumpkin mixture until well incorporated.

Then fold the whipped topping into the mixture until evenly combined. Next, pour the no bake pumpkin dip into a serving bowl (I love our Pumpkin shaped serving bowl for this recipe) or a carved out pumpkin and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Serve with cinnamon graham crackers, ginger snaps, vanilla wafers, thin Oreos, or apple slices.The possibilities are endless with this delicious pumpkin dip recipe!

No Bake Pumpkin Dip Recipe

Yield: 8

Light and fluffy, no bake pumpkin dip that is great to serve at any party!

Ingredients

  • 1 15 ounce can pumpkin puree
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/2 Tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 16 ounce container Cool Whip, thawed

Serving Ingredients

  • cinnamon graham crackers, ginger snaps, thin oreos, vanilla wafers, apple slices

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat together pumpkin puree, vanilla pudding mix and pumpkin pie spice.
  2. Fold in Cool Whip until well incorporated.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
