Instant Pot Chicken Leg Quarters
How to make the most delicious leg quarters in the Instant Pot and finishing them off under the crisper lid, on the grill or under the broiler.
- 4 Chicken Leg Quarters
- 1 cup water
- Seasoning or sauce of your choice
Place 1 cup of water in the liner of the Instant Pot
Add the trivet inside the pot.
Stack the chicken leg quarters in a bookshelf manner, placing the thickest part of the leg quarter resting on the trivet, with the leg facing upward towards the lid.
Lock the lid in place and move the valve to the SEALING position.
Pressure Cook/Manual on HIGH pressure for 20 minutes.
Once the cook time expires, allow for 8 minutes of Natural Pressure Release.
Release any remaining pressure and crisp using the crisper lid, on the grill or under the broiler.
Season as desired.
*It is best to let the chicken rest at room temperature 20 minutes prior to cooking to allow the Instant Pot to come to pressure quicker.
