Slow Cooker Zesty Chicken Recipe

Fall apart tender chicken in a sweet and tangy sauce that is prepared in minutes and cooked in the slow cooker. Makes for a great freezer meal!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 TBSP red wine vinegar
  • salt & pepper to taste

Garnish

  • parlsey and/or thyme optional

Instructions
 

  • Place the 4 chicken breasts in a large resealable bag.
  • Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl and then pour over the chicken. Allow at least 1 hour to marinate or label and freeze flat for a freezer meal.
  • Cook in Crockpot on Low for 8 hours or High for 4 hours.
